Share what actually happened to you: the queue at the consulate, the branch that asked for a second proof of address, the school that never answered the phone. Copying advice from another site without saying where it came from helps nobody and gets removed.
What you post here remains visible to other members and stays part of the board. If you want to quote a thread somewhere else, link back to it and keep the context. Lifting whole posts into another group without that context is not allowed.
Members describe visa timelines, school enrolment steps and shipping experiences as they lived them. Those notes are personal accounts, not official guidance. Before you act on anything you read, confirm it with the consulate, the school or the relevant authority.
The forum is a place to compare notes. We do not arrange your move, your paperwork or your lease, and we are not liable for decisions you take after reading a thread. Use the board as one input among several, not as the final word.
A warning is a nudge to fix how you post. A permanent ban follows repeated disruption or harm to other members. You can close your account whenever you like; inactive profiles may be archived after a long silence. No paid tiers, no refunds, nothing to cancel.
When the rules shift, we update this page and note the date at the top of the thread that announces it. Staying a member after an update means you accept the revised version.
